Light of the Southwest Interview (3/17/09)

Shalom everyone. This is subsequent two-hour interview that I did for GLC back on March 17, 2009. The emphasis was the story of a new Pharaoh (Exodus 1) and the parallels with current events in America. At the time it was one of the most watched LOTS programs on GLC (according to them) and so, the next night, I did another two hours. I hope you enjoy the teaching. Blessings.

P.S. As always we have included the audio version in case you can't watch the video.

One Response to Light of the Southwest Interview (3/17/09)

Great message! I shared it on FB. I thank the Holy One of Israel for you and your family. I would say our biggest challenge is the fight within us to resist the tendency to focus on the cares of this world and get caught up in a purpose that everyone else is being funneled into. It became clear to me working in retail last week. The reason the traffic is horrendous and it took me 30 minutes just to get out of a shopping plaza on Friday afternoon is because all these people are being funneled into one purpose! I found that profound when it came to me. Those who are outside of that and looking for the rest that is found in obedience to His word are the oddballs. It makes total sense to me. When people would ask me if I was ready for Christmas, I would respond, “I am ready for it to be over.” It is not the most wonderful time of the year. It is a time when people are dissatisfied, reaping death, in lack, spiritually sick, burdened with expectations and just plain selfish and mean. We haven’t seen anything yet because the government (generally speaking) will funnel the world into a common purpose just as THIS pagan holiday illustrates. It will be just as maddening because we were not born to be something else. I was rereading today the account of Yahshua walking on Solomon’s porch. After His very purpose on earth was attacked and questioned. He retreated to the place beyond the Jordan where He was first baptized. It is a blessing to me to see you bring out these teachings. They go to the heart of the Father’s purpose for you and your wife. My prayer for you and your ministry is that you remain true to His purposes.
