  1. Susan Helvey says:

Why are you saying it is Aviv 1 and my calendar says Nisan 2 ?

    • Bill says:

Susan; It was a just a mixup when the posts were scheduled. Its fixed now. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Shalom.

P.S. Aviv is the biblical name for the month now commonly called Nisan.

  2. JAIME says:

By my “calendar” the 1st day of the 1st month was crowned with a partial solar eclipse which should indicate to His people that first, it is the midpoint of the “Shemitah” yr., and second that a change, partial in nature will come upon the world. What that change will be I think will depend on whether one is wheat or tare…

By my “calendar” the 1st started at sundown on the 19th and the beginning of the 20th of March.. I lit a candle, blowed the Shofar on the New Moon as Commanded and paid my vows..

The next morning I awoke, and could not help feeling that there was something different with the new day, I didn’t know why, but I was more energetic and alert than the norm, almost as a euphoric boost.

I was just wondering if I am the only one that sensed somewhat of a dynamic change that day..
I can only describe the feeling as if there was a sense of protection, and security for no apparent reason. Couple this with a feeling of a very powerful, yet subtle undercurrent of strength of Spirit and you’ll understand why I am asking this…

    Shalom, shalom
