Is it that people wake up to each new day and not remember who they are and where their place is ?
How can people so easily forget that the dawning of each new day also brings the same life and death, blessing & cursing choices as the day before ?
Does one wake up with his beloved at their side and forget their place, or think that their covenant will not apply in the new day ?

Only the Lord’s true people understand that each day is a gift they are unworthy to receive….
I look upon my days and know that the only “equity” in them is the time I spend with the Lord, as everything else is vanity in one way or another…
Perhaps this is why we are admonished to pray unceasingly…. and let’s not forget that unless we “abide in the vine” we of course cannot bring forth fruit, but will also be cast off as a “withered” branch…..
And if a sparrow cannot fall without the Lord’s acknowledgement; what does it say about us when we stumble or fall ?

“I have seen an end of all perfection Lord; but thy commandments are exceedingly glorious”
    Psalm 119 : Lamed

What a thought provoking daily devotional. I usually never leave comments but 75 years ago today, the Krakow Ghetto Massacre took place in Poland. Over 2000 Jews were “liquidated”.

Mourn with me, if you would… perhaps especially as Poland passes their new Holocaust legislation.
