One Response to Torah Tidbit: Bechukotai – “I Choose Life”

  1. JAIME says:

    Shalom…

Without question in my mind, it is apparent that the Lord’s disdain for disobedience extends through the generational bloodlines as He includes the “iniquity of Fathers”.

I remember a segment whereas you expanded an understanding of God remembering and not remembering the sins of the Fathers unto the Children and so forth..

Though I understand everyone is accountable to the Lord for their own iniquities, it does not escape my understanding that just as the Lord remembers the “Good Fathers” and their obedience, so does He remember their disobedience…. as the iniquity of the Fathers is capsulated in the Lord’s warning….

It is “my understanding” that just as the Lord’s decree over all Creation over disobedience remains in effect throughout the generations, so do blessings..

To follow the parable of the sower which is the “Master Key” to all understanding, planting apple seeds will not bring forth grapes…

So a father which has done numerous acts of evil in his life time “WITHOUT REPENTANCE”; what would your understanding be concerning his seed…?

According to Torah, the “sins of the Father’s” ARE passed to the 3rd/4th generation…verses His “Blessings” unto the obedient which are to a thousand generations….

Again in “my understanding” the “Bloodline” is followed and so is Torah…

AND in Torah; everything produces it’s seed after it’s own kind….

And in Torah’s sode….. Every “TREE” yielding seed produces after it’s own kind…

Herein lies the beauty of the Lord’s decree unto the Angels not to pluck up the Tares but to let them grow together until the Harvest to allow a righteous separation of the “bloodline / seed”…
ie., the seed of the Woman and the seed of the Serpent…

I believe this also lines up with your teaching on the “blood”.

Though all our blood has been tainted; living waters are available to everyone who thirsts for truth and righteousness so we may once again be cleansed and walk in liberty as the Children of the ONE TRUE LIVING GOD..

    A Shabbat Sheckel…….

    Shalom, shalom
